About Us
My love affair with Wirehair Dachshunds began in 1980 with my foundation bitch, Ch. Solo's Dagmar at Daybreak W, the first Champion daughter of Ch. Solo's Harbormaster, and granddaughter of Ch. Westphal's Wandering Wind.
Since then I have bred and owned mutliple conformation champions focusing on my goal to produce sound dogs with elegance and outstanding temperaments that excel in the show ring and as loving companions.

I have been fortunate to have the support and encouragement of great mentors through the years, and enjoy the frienships I have made with breeders and exhibitors who love the breed as much as I do.
My husband and I live in the beautiful contryside of Central Ohio where my dogs are raised in our home, not a kennel. They enjoy expansive outdoor play areas as well as indoor space designed specifically for their care and comfort.

I am past President of the Central Ohio Dachshund Club now serving as a Board member, a member of the Dachshund Club of America, and member of the Mid-Ohio Owner Handler Association.
